Shirika la Kijana Angaza Tanzania (SHIKIATA) is a not-for-profit sharing organization registered in Tanzania under the NGO Act of 2002. It was registered on 30th November 2020 with registration number ooNGO/R/1525 for the purpose of improving lives of youth through capacity building. We noted that the education system in Tanzania prepares youth to seek for employment instead of self-employ; to identify problems, but not to come up with practical solutions for those problems. As a result, employment chances are getting scarce everyday and the labor market is not able to employ all the primary and secondary dropouts and the university graduates.
